Overview
Every type of Government document has a fixed, official abbreviation, used in letter references and formal correspondence (see Official Stationery & Correspondence).
For any document type not listed below, the Ministry of the Presidency (Archives Department) creates a common abbreviation in consultation with the President’s advisers on legal affairs and strategic communications. Documents issued by the Vice-President use the same abbreviation as the equivalent presidential document, with the letters ‘KX’ added.
